The Celts are specialized in such tactics and thus, are not designed to be versatile but rather effective in their niche of ambush warfare. Key sources of income for these factions include sacking, looting, and raiding, reflecting their aggressive gameplay style and strategic preferences. Ebdanians: The Ebdanians share common Celtic raiding traits but stand out with their exceptional skills in sacking and looting, offering a unique playstyle that allows them to profit significantly from their adversaries’ losses. Picts: Known as the 'Children of the Night,' the Picts excel in nighttime warfare. They can always opt to battle under the cover of darkness, where they gain morale bonuses and leverage their heavy assault and berserker units to terrifying effect. Caledonians: The Caledonians are masters of sabotage and assassination, producing individuals who are charismatic yet deadly. Their agents are particularly effective and successful in their covert operations. Features: • Unique Narrative Event-Chain: Cycle of The Ollam Ri - This series of linked narrative events inspired by Celtic mythology invites players to guide the actions of a legendary hero, making choices that shape his path. The culmination of these events sees Ollam Ri himself joining your ranks as a general, his abilities reflecting the decisions made during his journey. • Celtic Units: All three factions boast a shared roster of diverse Celtic units, ranging across three tiers and including such units as the Sighthound Spears, Mormaer heavy cavalry, and the elite light infantry, Scatha's Teachers. • New Mechanic: Prestige Buildings - Introducing three new Tier 5 buildings unlocked through a novel game mechanic.
