Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is a third-person shooter released in 2016. As the sequel to PvZ Garden Warfare, it offers players hours of new content, game modes, and more. Story The game takes place after the events of its predecessor. With the Plants defeated, the Zombies have taken control of Suburbia. Forced to retreat, the Plants create an underground hideout, planning their moves to reclaim their land. PvZ Garden Warfare 2 Gameplay Choose your side—Plants or Zombies—and fight for control of Suburbia. After picking your faction, blast your way through opponents in online matches or solo mode against AI enemies. Customize your character's appearance in the customization room. Game Modes: Backyard Battleground: An open-world hub where players can explore, access missions through portals, and collect treasures scattered throughout the world. Flag of Power: Compete against endless waves of AI enemies to see how long you can survive. Build turrets for extra defense, but be prepared as each wave gets tougher. Suburbination: Compete in a team-based mode to capture and control three areas. Hold all zones to earn bonuses until one of the areas is overtaken. Infinity Time: Take control of giant robots and destroy waves of gnomes to earn time shards. The more shards you collect, the better rewards you'll receive. New Features: New Characters: Six new characters, each with unique skills. Herbal Assault Mode: A new battle mode where Plants attack the Zombies' base. Gardens and Graveyards Reimagined: In this version, Zombies must defend their base from the Plants' assault. New Maps and Modes: Explore fresh maps, game modes, and more.
